Anatomy Courses Taught

Medical

At MSU, I have been able to teach both undergraduate and graduate anatomy courses. I teach in the anatomy lecture course (ANTR 350), the gross anatomy lab course (ANTR 355), and the gross anatomy prosection course (ANTR 485). I also teach the gross anatomy course for 1st-year medical students (OST 510) and the graduate protection course (ANTR 585).

At UNTHSC, I was able to teach in each laboratory for the 1st-year medical students, including musculoskeletal systems (upper limb, lower limb, head and neck), structural neuroscience, cardiopulmonary system, gastrointestinal and renal systems,  and reproductive system.

At CMU, I was able to teach in the laboratory for the 1st-year medical students, including the musculoskeletal systems (upper limb, lower limb, head and neck), cardiopulmonary system, and gastrointestinal and renal systems.

Allied Health

At MSU, I teach in the graduate health professions, the College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the College of Human Medicine.

At UNTHSC, I taught each system of the human body in the Medical Science master's curriculum (prosection-based anatomy).

At CMU, I was able to teach in the dissection-based laboratory for the physical therapist and physician and assistant regional anatomy foundations course. This course consisted of musculoskeletal systems, nervous system, cardiopulmonary system, gastrointestinal and renal systems, and reproductive system.

Undergraduate

At MSU, I have been able to teach in the large undergraduate pre-health professional course (ANTR 350) and the accompanying undergraduate prosection-based course (ANTR 355). Additionally, I teach in ANTR 485, which allows undergraduate students to prosect.

At CMU, I was able to teach in the laboratory for the undergraduate prosection-based labs. I taught my own laboratories, recruited and trained teaching assistants for each lab, and created my own quizzes and examinations. I held many positions in the undergraduate anatomy lab as a volunteer dissector, a teaching assistant, and a graduate student instructor.
